David Latimer
David has been teaching Geography in NSW for over 10 years and has a passion for inquiry learning and innovative technologies in the classroom. "I believe the geospatial revolution and the focus on cross-curricular teaching ideas, such as STEM, have the potential to reinvigorate the Geography classroom. The central role of fieldwork and inquiry in Geography make it a most relevant subject for the 21st century student." David is currently the Head of HSIE at MLC School where he teaches both IB and HSC Geography. In addition to his teaching, David is also a councillor with the Geography Teachers Association of NSW and an experienced HSC Marker with NESA. |
